Terms and Conditions
Please read these terms carefully before using Invogen. They explain your responsibilities and the rules that apply to our invoicing services.
1. Introduction and Agreement
Welcome to Invogen, available at invogen.store. Invogen provides online tools intended to help users create, manage, download, and send invoices.
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Invogen website and its available features. By accessing or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use Invogen. If you use Invogen on behalf of a business, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that business.
2. Eligibility and Account Registration
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under the laws applicable to you to use Invogen independently. If you are using the service on behalf of an organization, you must be authorized to do so.
When creating an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and current registration information.
- Keep your account information reasonably up to date.
- Protect your password and account credentials.
- Use your account only for lawful purposes.
- Notify us if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
You are responsible for activity carried out through your account to the extent permitted by applicable law. You must not share access in a way that compromises account security or violates these Terms.
3. Description of Services
Invogen may provide features such as:
- Account registration, login, and account management.
- Invoice creation, editing, and management.
- Customer and business information management.
- Invoice PDF generation and downloading.
- Invoice delivery by email.
- Support for multiple currencies.
- Dashboard information and invoice history.
Features may change as we maintain and improve the service. We may introduce new features, modify existing features, or discontinue a feature when reasonably necessary, subject to applicable law and any obligations we have already accepted.
4. Free Access and Future Paid Features
Invogen currently intends to provide access to its available core features without a subscription fee. The features and access offered may be described on the website from time to time.
We may introduce optional paid plans, usage limits, or additional services in the future. If we do, applicable prices, billing terms, renewal rules, cancellation procedures, and other material conditions will be disclosed before you agree to purchase them.
We will not treat your use of the current free service as consent to an undisclosed paid subscription. Any payment-related terms will apply when relevant and as legally required.
5. Invoice Creation and Accuracy
Invogen provides tools for preparing invoices. You are responsible for reviewing every invoice before downloading it or sending it to a customer.
You are responsible for checking:
- Business names, addresses, and contact information.
- Customer details and invoice dates.
- Invoice numbers and descriptions of goods or services.
- Quantities, prices, discounts, and calculated totals.
- Currency selection and any applicable exchange rates.
- Tax information and other legally required details.
You must ensure that your invoices comply with the tax, accounting, consumer protection, and invoicing requirements applicable to your business and customers.
You should independently verify important calculations and legal requirements. Invogen does not guarantee that every generated invoice will satisfy the requirements of every jurisdiction.
6. Multiple Currencies
Invogen may allow you to select different currencies for invoices. You are responsible for selecting the appropriate currency and confirming that the displayed symbols and amounts are correct.
A currency symbol does not necessarily establish an exchange rate, convert a payment, or represent a verified market rate. Unless a feature expressly states otherwise, you must obtain and verify any exchange rate you need.
You are also responsible for any currency conversion, banking fees, exchange-rate adjustments, and reporting obligations associated with your business.
7. PDF Downloads and Email Delivery
Invogen may generate downloadable invoice documents and provide functionality for sending invoices by email. You are responsible for checking the contents of a document before sharing it.
When sending an invoice, you agree to:
- Verify that the recipient’s email address is correct.
- Send documents only to recipients you are authorized to contact.
- Avoid including unnecessary confidential information.
- Check whether the recipient actually received the message when confirmation matters.
Email delivery may be affected by recipient mail servers, spam filters, network problems, attachment restrictions, or other systems outside our control. A successful submission does not necessarily mean that a recipient has read or accepted an invoice.
8. Customer Information and Data Protection
You may enter business, customer, and invoice information into Invogen. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights and permissions to collect, use, and process that information.
You agree not to:
- Upload personal information without an appropriate lawful basis.
- Use customer information for unlawful or unauthorized purposes.
- Attempt to access another user’s account or records.
- Use the service to expose another person’s confidential information.
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. Please review that policy for details about information collection, use, protection, retention, and applicable privacy rights.
You should retain your own copies of important business records and invoices. Do not rely on Invogen as the sole repository for documents you must preserve.
9. Acceptable Use
You may use Invogen only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
- Create or distribute fraudulent invoices or forged documents.
- Use the service to facilitate fraud, impersonation, or other unlawful activity.
- Send spam or unauthorized bulk messages through the service.
- Upload malware or attempt to compromise the website.
- Bypass authentication, security controls, or usage restrictions.
- Access, modify, or delete another user’s information without authorization.
- Interfere with the availability or operation of Invogen.
- Reverse engineer or misuse the service in violation of applicable law or third-party rights.
We may investigate suspected misuse and take proportionate action, including restricting access or suspending an account where reasonably necessary and permitted by law.
10. Intellectual Property
The Invogen name, branding, website design, software, and other materials owned by Invogen or its licensors are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable permission to use the available service for its intended purpose. This permission does not transfer ownership of the software or branding to you.
You retain the rights you have in the business information and content you provide. You authorize us to process that content as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, secure, and provide the service, subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
You must not copy, redistribute, or commercially exploit protected Invogen materials except as permitted by law or with the required authorization.
11. Third-Party Services
Invogen may rely on third-party services to support website hosting, email delivery, security, backups, or other functionality.
Third-party services may have their own terms, privacy policies, availability limitations, and technical requirements. Where appropriate, you should review those terms before using the relevant functionality.
We are not responsible for independent third-party services beyond the responsibilities imposed on us by applicable law.
12. Availability, Maintenance, and Changes
We aim to keep Invogen available and functioning reliably, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access at all times.
Access may occasionally be interrupted by maintenance, updates, hosting failures, security incidents, connectivity problems, or other events. We may take reasonable steps to restore service and protect users.
We recommend keeping independent backups of important invoices and business records.
13. No Professional or Tax Advice
Invogen is an invoicing tool, not a substitute for professional accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice.
You are responsible for determining which taxes, invoice formats, recordkeeping rules, and reporting obligations apply to your activities. Consult a qualified professional when necessary.
14. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Invogen is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not warrant that the service will always be uninterrupted, completely secure, error-free, or suitable for every user’s particular requirements.
We do not guarantee that an invoice will be accepted by a recipient, satisfy a particular tax authority, result in payment, or establish a legal obligation beyond the applicable underlying transaction.
Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty, consumer right, or other protection that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Invogen will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service.
This may include loss of profits, business opportunities, or data, subject to the limitations imposed by applicable law and the circumstances of the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law, including any liability that cannot legally be waived.
Any additional liability limitations must be interpreted consistently with applicable law and any mandatory rights you may have.
16. Suspension and Account Closure
You may stop using Invogen and request account closure through the available account settings or by contacting us.
We may suspend or restrict access when reasonably necessary to address security risks, suspected fraud, unlawful activity, serious violations of these Terms, or legal obligations.
Where appropriate and legally permitted, we will provide notice or an opportunity to resolve the issue. Emergency action may be necessary to protect users or the service.
Account closure does not automatically mean that all information is immediately erased. Information may be retained for legitimate operational, security, dispute-resolution, or legal purposes, as described in our Privacy Policy and subject to applicable law.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to Invogen, its features, applicable laws, or our operating practices.
We will update the “Last Updated” date when revisions are published. Where required by law or appropriate due to a material change, we will provide additional notice.
Continued use after revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance only to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree with revised Terms, you should stop using the affected service.
18. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are subject to the laws of [INSERT THE APPLICABLE COUNTRY OR JURISDICTION], without overriding any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
Any dispute relating to Invogen should first be raised with us so that the parties can attempt to resolve it informally. If a dispute cannot be resolved, it will be handled by the competent courts or dispute-resolution bodies as determined by applicable law.
Before publishing, replace the jurisdiction placeholder with the law applicable to the business operating Invogen and have this section reviewed for enforceability.
19. Severability and Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
These Terms, together with any applicable additional terms and our Privacy Policy, describe the general agreement governing your use of Invogen. They do not override any mandatory legal rights or obligations.
